As we look ahead to 2026, South Church is inviting our church family to commit to a shared journey through God’s Word with our new 2026 Bible Reading Plan.

This plan is intentionally designed to be steady, Scripture rich, and sustainable. Rather than rushing through large portions of the Bible, the plan focuses on consistent daily readings that move thoughtfully through both the Old and New Testaments, along with regular time in Psalms and Proverbs. The goal is not speed, but depth, faithfulness, and daily engagement with God’s Word.

Throughout the year, the plan walks readers through the Gospels, Acts, the Epistles, and Revelation, then through the Law, historical books, and wisdom literature. It provides a balanced rhythm that keeps Christ at the center while grounding readers in the broader story of Scripture.

This is a plan for real life. Some days include a single chapter, others a few chapters, but each day is designed to be approachable and doable. Whether you are new to reading the Bible or have followed reading plans for years, this is an opportunity to grow steadily without feeling overwhelmed.

We encourage individuals, families, Sunday School classes, and small groups to join in together. There is no pressure to be perfect and no guilt if you miss a day. The heart of this plan is simple faithfulness, returning to God’s Word again and again.

Let’s move into 2026 rooted in Scripture, growing together, and committed to meeting with God daily through His Word.
