New Life and New Members

August 3rd, 2025, was a truly special day in the life of South Church. We had the privilege of witnessing Patrick Bohner take the next step in his faith journey through baptism, made even more meaningful as he was baptized by his father, Greg Bohner.

Patrick’s story is a beautiful reminder of how God works through both big events and everyday moments. Earlier this summer, Patrick attended CentriKid Camp with our Children’s Ministry. While there, he heard the Gospel clearly and began thinking deeply about what it means to follow Jesus. When he returned home, Patrick had some heartfelt conversations with his family about faith and the hope we have in Christ. During those conversations,  he trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

On Sunday, his public baptism became a celebration not only for his family but for our whole church family. We are also thrilled to share that Greg and Rebecca Bohner, who have been faithfully attending South with Patrick and his brother Samuel, are officially joining our church family.

We give all glory to God for what He’s doing in the Bohner household and in the life of our church. Please join us in welcoming Greg, Rebecca, Patrick, and Samuel to South, and continue praying for Patrick as he grows in his walk with Christ.
